A fresh wind is blowing through the time-honored walls of the former “Ballhaus Femina” – a hotspot of the wild 1920s in West Berlin. The famous façade constructed in the architectural style “New Objectivity” in the early 1920s remains reminiscent of the glitz and glamour of the old days. In addition to the Ballhaus, the stately building also housed the Texas Bar and Berlin’s largest dance tea in 1929, before chapels of the Wehrmacht drove away the swinging public.
